Photo Tips #2 - Shapes - I'm a square kinda guy...

There are some shapes that resound within human nature due to our almost innate affinity to symmetry. A few shapes that people often recognize are squares, triangles, and circles. Using these shapes in your photo to balance the subject or bring character to the image almost never fails! 

When people see images of shapes creating a sequence or a pattern, they are almost immediately drawn to it, and almost always say something complimentary. This is because they have identified with something in the photograph!

Photo Assignment: Try taking photographs with your subject balanced with squares, circles, or triangles.
